Well it seems that there is drama now pouring over into the college area of ministry at New Ga. That is something I hoped we were beyond in our maturity level. You know...It seems to me that if you "want to be" someone's friend, or "want to talk" to someone, or don’t "want to ignore" someone's phone calls...then you probably shouldn't. I have heard stories and you know what? It doesn't really matter what happened or what has been said by one person or another because the "teaching of Christ" will never make that okay. Christ will always love and never ignore his children...if we want to act like Him, that’s the way we treat brothers...no matter what has happened.
" Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times? Jesus said to Him "I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven." Matthew 18:21-22. You know...that just pretty much means that we don't have a choice in forgiving anyone nor do we get to say when enough is enough. Lets love and reconcile and forgive and stop letting petty little things hinder us from being able to minister to and with one another. You know...when our lives become so self absorbed that things like this hinder us from the ministry that God has called us to, I believe that it makes God sick.
"So, then, because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth. Rev 3:16
"bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, you also MUST forgive them. But above all these things, put on love...” Col 3:13-14
Its time we begin to become ministers! If that means that we choke on our pride and swallow the agony of loving the hard to love...then I guess we better get used to having a lump in our throat because that is what the word of God has called us to do.
Just know that those of us in 3:TEN ministry are fully aware of what is taking place and would love the opportunity to take part in the reconciliation of the issues that are hindering this ministry from growing. We love each of you and hope that everyone here understands our deep desire to see people passionate about the truths of God, and serving Him for a lifetime to His glory.
